| The meteorite fell to the mountain in the north of the Texas in the United States in April, 2000. At that time, all started.
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention ( CDC ) found the new kind of virus ( M34 ) in December, 2000. The characteristic of M34 clarified by "Unknown virus study group" set up in CDC because of the research of this virus was surprising thing. M34 was brought to the earth by a meteorite. Especially, M34 was human race's threat because it changed infection person's brain cell, and changed them into a violence character. However, it is difficult to find the infection person at the incubation period, and the virus has spread all over the world. C.U.R.E. ( Committee of the Universal Resolution of Ecocatastrophe ) was founded by WHO to find, and to isolate the infection person at the early stage in June, 2002.
After two years, the soldiers who coated the body with the nano-machine kept fighting with the infection person, but the killed in action kept increasing. Yuji Tamiya was one of the soldiers. He was not able to endure the situation that the soldier died one after another. And he entreated the disposition of the new weapon. However, it was only one girl named Ai to create the new weapon which was called "Deva".
