| It is 12,000 years after the fierce Aquarion War. Humanity lives in fear of raids by the mysterious extra-dimensional Abductors and only the weapons-system called Aquarea can counter the Abductors.
In order to find pilots to man the three Vector Machines that make up Aquarea, young Element Cadets are gathered at the Neo Diver Academy. However, the boys and girls of the academy are kept isolated from each other in order to prevent romantic liaisons.
