| In the year 2029, a sudden "apocalypse virus" outbreak ravaged Japan, resulting in widespread chaos and anarchy. After the government collapsed, the world's superpowers formed GHQ, which restored order via military intervention and set itself up as the new government. This later becomes known as "Lost Christmas", the moment when Japan loses its independence.
10 years have since passed. Ouma Shuu is a gloomy 2nd-year student at 1st Tennouzu High School. Standing aloof from his classmates, he lives a peaceful, if aimless, life.
His peaceful everyday life is shattered when Shuu meets Yuzuriha Inori. Not only is she a very popular songstress, she is also a member of "Undertaker", a resistance group led by young and charismatic Tsutsugami Gai whose aim is to free Japan from GHQ's occupation.
