| At Fujimi Private Academy, hell begins with just a single intruder. "They" attack, devouring people, and then more of "them" arise. Within minutes, "they" sweep through the school.
Komura Takashi, along with childhood friend Miyamoto Rei and best friend Igou Hisashi manage to temporarily survive and evade "them". However, in protecting Rei, Hisashi is bitten and turns into one of "them"...
Takashi and Rei then meet up with other survivors: kendo club captain Busujima Saeko, girl-genius Takagi Saya, military-otaku Hirano Kota, and school nurse Marikawa Shizuka. Together, they attempt to escape the Academy and survive in a world gone mad!
