| Kenji Koiso is a quiet eleventh-grader who helps with maintaining the global communication program OZ with his friend Kiyomi Ikezawa. Natsuki Shinohara, an older student, asks Kenji to accompany her over summer vacation for a "part-time job." Kenji agrees because he has a secret crush on Natsuki. Natsuki takes Kenji to the 90th birthday party of her grandmother and Jinnouchi clan leader, Sakae Jinnouchi. Upon arriving, Kenji quickly realizes his "part-time job" is to pretend to be Natsuki's fiance. While Kenji attempts to keep up with Natsuki's act he receives a text message on his phone. The text is an large list of seemingly random numbers. Kenji, being a math genius, quickly solves the code and sends the answer back. Little does Kenji realize that this code is the key to unlocking all of OZ and whoever has it can put the whole world in danger. Everything in the world is run off of OZ. Whoever controls OZ, controls the world.
