| In the near future, the land has been scarred by a lengthy war and the world is in decline. Cities have been deserted by their inhabitants, the oceans are empty of fishes, and the rusting relics of war are everywhere. Yet, as dawn lightens the skies, a clear and resounding note echoes from afar.
Sorami Kanata is a 15 year-old girl who joins the army with a big dream. Her story begins with her arrival in the frontier town of Seize, and her posting to the 1121st Squad.
