| 5 years ago, Satsuki Kakeru's sister committed suicide. However, due to the support of his childhood friend, Minase Yuka, he has managed to move on with his life. The two now live in Ayamegaoka City, and both attend Kouryoukan Academy.
One day, the two find themselves suddenly transported into what appears to be another world. Although they still seemed to be in Ayamegaoka City, it appears uninhabited. Furthermore, a black moon hung in the sky, creating a red night. Monsters roam this world, and the two run for their lives. After some time, they are returned to the normal world.
This recurs continuously. Kakeru and Yuka discover that they are not alone. They find four others, all students of Kouryoukan Academy, who travel to this world. The six join forces in order to survive in this Red Night. However, in addition to the monsters, Kakeru and company must also contend with the ominous 6 Black Knights...
