| Japan is a nation which is beset by earthquakes on a regular basis. The chances of an earthquake with a magnitude of greater than 7.0 hitting the Tokyo Metropolitan Area in the next 30 years is over 70%.
This story imagines an earthquake of 8.0 magnitude hitting Tokyo in 2010. Mirai (aged 11) and Yuuki (aged 6) are two children visiting a robot convention in the artificial island of Odaiba when the earthquake strikes. Will they be able to get back to their home?
