| Phantom. That is the title given to the top assassin of the crime syndicate Inferno.
One day, a Japanese youth witnesses a murder committed by a girl, Ein, Inferno's Phantom. He flees but is captured. However, he is not killed as Inferno sees in him the potential to become an assassin. When the Japanese youth wakes up, he finds himself with no memories of his past.
Under the tutelage of Ein, he is trained to become her partner. A second Phantom.
