Description

A long time ago, humans were terrorized by beings known as Tayutai. However, there was one who desired peaceful co-existence with humans. Her name was Kikurami Kaminohime. With the aid of a human monk named Yachimata Kageharu, Kikurami succeeded in sealing away the majority of the Tayutai along with herself.

500 years later, the seal is accidentally broken and the Tayutai are released. Amongst them, the three strongest and most hostile are Nue, Ou-ryuu, and Hou-ou. Having sealed them away for 500 years, Kikurami's powers have deteriorated and, as a result, is unable to counter them. She then enlists the aid of high-school student Mito Yuuri, a descendant of Yachimata.
