| | Chiko, the daughter of Mikamo, leads a lonely life because her in-laws attempt to kill her. After being invited by the thief Nijumenso (20 faces), however, she sets out on a journey to a strange world. There she finds a place to settle into a comfortable life and encounters new friends as she gradually changes. Various events transpire around the mystery called “Inheritance of Nijumenso”, and the thoughts of people aiming to claim it. Chiko has to make her way, even if she has to lead a checkered life.
