| | Okazaki Tomoya is a senior in high school whose relationship with his father is strained. On his way to school, he encounters a girl named Kogawa Nagisa. Nagisa says that she can't go up the hill to school, and so asks Tomoya to go with her. Tomoya proposes that she can go up the hill if she finds something that interests her in school. Following his advice, she begins her struggle to revive the defunct drama club. Before long, Tomoya begins to help Nagisa, and then, finds himself attracted to her.
