There is a clan who turns into Shokujinki, or man-eaters. On the other hand, there are people who fight against man-eaters. They are called Kifuken. Both have continued bloody fights more than 1000 years where normal people didn't notice. Shokujinki hasn't appeared for these 25 years. However, recently, they have a lot of incidents that Shokujinki assault people.
The protagonist, Momota Toshihiko, is a young swordsman of Kifuken. He is a very earnest instructor of Kifuken. One day, Toshihiko has a fateful encounter with Kamitsuka Yuka who is an instructor of skydiving.
They began to go out, but actually, Yuka is a Shokujinki. Meanwhile, Toshihiko's father Momota Juzo, who is the director of Kifuken, is killed by a Shokujinki. Did Yuka kill him? Toshihiko runs away from Kifuken with Yuka. Then, Toshihiko's brother, Toma Kazuma, sends follower to them. What is waiting for them when their escape will end?
