| | In the distant future, the popularity of basketball as a sport has spread far across the universe leading to the creation of a Space League. However, no Earthlings play in the League, which is dominated by aliens with superior physical abilities. Worrying about the future of Earth basketball, a mysterious old guy, Yoshimune, decides to found the strongest basketball team ever seen on Earth. To accomplish his plan, a scout visits the slum where the main character, Hideyoshi, is living. Hideyoshi, though only 14 years old, is instantly selected because of his outstanding talent. Hideyoshi will have to first overcome the challenges of working with his difficult teammates before moving on to the challenges of the Space League.
