| Okano Makoto transfers to a school in his old hometown. There, he spends normal but happy schooldays with his sister Hinata; the class joker Tachibana Tsutomu; Shikouin Kasumi, Tsutomu's childhood friend; among others.
One day, after school, Makoto hears someone playing the harmonica. The melody arouses old feelings within him, leading him to the roof of the school building. There, he meets a girl in the gathering dusk.
It is Narukaze Minamo, who turns her face to him with a smile. She was a childhood friend, but they had been separated for many years. Hiding their true feelings, Makoto and his friends continue to live out their lives. Their stories in this mysterious town are about to begin.
