| Deep in the Himalayas, monstrous things are about to move. These are the Demon and his devils, who have been sleeping in ice since long before the human race appeared. Now, in order to retrieve their world, they are going to kill all the unsuspecting humans.
Dr. Fudo was exploring the Himalayas with his son, Akira, when he was killed by the Demon. Devilman, one of the Demon’s heroes, deprived Akira of his body and went to Japan on a mission to conquer the humans; but instead, he found himself captivated by Akira’s cousin, Makimura Miki.
"Demon? Human beings? Who cares? I don't care about the earth nor Xenon. They are meaningless compared to Miki. Yes, I have Miki."
So, to protect Miki from the Demon, he disobeyed his order to kill the humans and betrayed the Demon. His solitary fight against the Demon has continued since then.
