| | Tekkaman is a mecha anime set in the year 2087. Originally, 52 episodes were planned, however due to the unpopularity of the show, the series was shortened to 26 episodes. This low budget anime series follows the adventure of Blade, the main character, with the power to become a Tekkaman. Blade along with a group of space knights uses their power to defend the Earth.
