| | The bridge Communications Officer of the Nadesico, Megumi's previous job was that of anime voice actress. She was also a student at a nursing school. She took the job on the Nadesico because ti was a good opportunity, but never thought things would go as far as war. She fell in love with Akito the first moment she saw him and competes with Yurika for his attention. Her name personal history were of course, inspired by star voice actress/singer Megumi Hayashibara.
