Nanao Kozue

| Nanao Kozue comes from a middle-class family that lives in the suburbs of Tokyo. She goes to a second-rated college, has a part-time job, and craves scary movies. Kozue-chan is liked by everyone for her cuteness and innocence. She acts rather childishly for her age which makes her family worry that men might take advantage of her. Because she never had a boyfriend in high school, she is rather unexperience on how initimate relationships should be like. For her, an intimate relationship usually involves just holding hands, giving gifts, and occasional dates.
Kozue-chan first met Godai when they worked part-time in a liquor store. Godai reminds her of someone who she had a crush on in high school. Kozue feels sorry for Godai's constant misfortunes and thinks that he needs her to take care of him. However, being different colleges, she only sees him in occasional dates and is a bit insecure on whether Godai is chasing other women, especially Kyoko-san
