Shun Ukiya

| Shun is the second GateKeeper found in Japan and has the "gate of strong wind". He was discovered when the Commander and Ruriko were transporting the Gate Engine to their base. He became the captain of the GateKeepers Party and is sometimes immature.
He does things before thinking of what the consequences might be and most of the time, leads to disaster. When they were in kindergarten, he would help Ruriko in her troubles and become "Miracle Mask". Before transferring to another home, he gave his treasure to her, which was a wooden model of a dinosaur painted in green.
Shun has this thinking of his father that he cares more about his work than his family. Since his father who died on the way to his graduation, he has hated his father for not being able to keep the promises he had made to him and his family.
There also are many times when Shun has strived not to be like his father who broke his promises. In the last episode, his mother made him understand what had happened to his father and told him that he died in an accident.
Shun has two offensives moves, one is the "vacuum missle" and the other is the "Ultra Whirlwind Slash" which is a move he invented in Kendo.
