Miria is a powerful Claymore that is sent on a mission to kill an Awakened Being that lives in the mountains near a village. On this mission she leads three other Claymores: Clare, Helen, and Deneve. The four of them become aware that this mission assignment was no random meeting for them, and at the end they form a pact to meet again.

She is known as "Phantom Miria" because of her ability to create an illusion of herself seconds before a Yoma attacks.
