He is Jirou's little brother and the only one with the same bloodline as his brother. Kotarou is actually the reincarnation of Alice Eve, the descendant of all the vampires of their bloodline.She only gave blood to Jirou(vampires change people into them by giving them their blood)so they are the only "Old Bloods."Kotarou is not affected by water or light because he is the "original."It is Jirou's job to protect him,so when he fell into the ocean Jirou went after him.
