Ceres...she only wants her hagoromo back...the man from the past hid them and made her bear his children...even though she never loved him, she feels a deep love for her children and even regret for the wrong-doings they have caused... her body died and is a bit withered... "Only an empty shell..." , as Aki puts it...Her body protects the Mikage family but her spirit is out for revenge... She has a rarely seen nice side..She can be reasonable too... Her pain in her heart is so evident... She only wants to return to heaven, like the Tennyo she is... fans finally get to see her past and it is beautiful and sad....she had three children with Mikagi, though he went mad with the power she gave him...she speaks with him as he is within Aki,lying about the love they had because it hurts her heart so... her hagoromo, she must get back but...it means without it, her mana, she will waste away and die...that means Aya and her unborn child will die...

Ceres is Aya's great great great ancestor,
And with Aya's help she wants to get revenge from Mikagi, she is a celestial maiden who lost her mana (robe) when she came to earth long ago.
Unable to get her robe back, Ceres couldn't go back home so she had to stay.
She just wants to go back home, although she sounds pretty mean against the Mikages, except Aya ofcourse.
She can fly!eheheeheheh...

Ceres is a Celestial Angel who will do just about anything to get what she wants. Although she doesn't seem to be the nicest person at times she will show her good side.
