Reverie Metherlence, Better known as Ren, is an Edel Raid. Edel Raids are able to junction themselves to humans, to create a a weapon, depending on what the Edel Raid is, by doing this, the Edel Raid forms a pact with the human, and cannot junction itself to another human.
Ren is a direct descendant of the Metherlence bloodline. She is one of the legendary Seven Glittering Jewels (Otherwise known as Shichiko-hoju), An Edel Raid Line said to be the strongest. Her elemental power is wind, which is most affectively used defensively. Edel Raids have different ways of recharging their power, Ren's is sleeping, which she seems to do fairly often.
Ren has Emerald Green eyes, and powder blue hair,
She has a shy personality, and as the story progresses, she realizes that she has developed feelings for Cou.

She is Edil Raid, and she is a descendant of one of the seven strongest families. She turns into a large sword, and her power is strong enough to cut iron easily. However, whenever she uses the power, she falls asleep.
