Chachamaru looks like a stone-faced 14-year-old girl but is really a robot with all kinds of features, including long lime-green hair and strange head decorations. Kamo and Chisame are among the few characters who can tell without being told. Chachamaru is very popular in the city, always doing good deeds and seems to have a fondness for kittens. Because of this, and although she is techinically meant to be a villianess, Negi can't bring himself to hurt her, as she is also his student, causing her to care for him and reluctant to cause him injury, but is also loyal to her master Eva. Chachamaru was said to be created and programmed by Hakase. She is seen with an arm over her as the two are seemingly at a sleepover. It's unknown exactly what she was programmed for, as she not only is a Minstra partner but also Eva's livein maid.
In the anime;
It seems Hakase can't help but add features to her, much to her embarassment and is a bit more mature and robotic in personality than her manga-self. Also, she seems to hint that Eva has feelings for Negi instead of herself. Chachamaru always seems to have a bazooka in hand in flight for big targets. For some time all she says is "Yes, master".
In the manga;
She seems to be more feminine somehow and more humerous as Eva often embarasses or injures herself somehow and is herself in love with Negi for showing concern and kindness towards her.

Chachamaru a robot programmed by Evangeline to be her "friend" and partner in the vampire's lust for greatness and also for the heart of Nagi Springfeild the Thousand Year Master. Sometime after the curse fell on Eva, Chachamaru came into the picture to replace Chachazero, a violent little puppet that looked like her, and is an attractive young woman. It seems that there are few people who can tell she's a robot without being told, though her robotic rabbit ears should make it obvious.
Despite seemingly a bad guy, Chachamaru is actually a good and caring girl who only does bad things if Eva tells her to, which means Negi refuses to attack her when he has the chance. Chachamaru seems to think her mistress has feelings for him the way she did his father.
She's insanely strong and smart, even for a robot.
One thing that many fans love about her is that she's in love with Negi and often seems to stuggle with both the love she feels for him and the loyalty to her master.
She is an "upgrade" of ChachaZero, a puppet powered by Eva's magic when she became a full-grown woman to seduce Nagi, and seemed to fade away when Eva was beaten. Unlike Chachamaru, Chachazero loves to see and cause pain and suffering and always carries giant blades.

She is a robot and partner of Evangeeline. Although she is a robot, it seems she has a heart but has to obey Evangeline's every command.
