Ziggy's real name is Ziggurat 8, wich stands for that he is a cyborg created by ziggurat industries. He gave his life up for donor to be a cyborg earlier, and ever since he's strived to become more and more of a machine. He's actually quite old unlike his appearance.

Ziggy, or Ziggurat-8, is one of the few remaining cyborgs in the era of realians. He was once human, was killed in the line of duty and resurrected as a part human part mechanical construct due to a very controversial Preservation of Life act. He is quite old by human standards, though his body dosent age. Unlike other (few) remaining cyborgs, he dosent strive to be more human, infact he actively seeks to kill off him human part and its memories. Momo causes a change in him gradually though.
