At first glance you will notice that she is the youngest of the class of Mizuho Sensei, but actually its not, later on the series she will reveal her tru age and the sickness she carry!

The "smallest" of the gang...
but the "oldest"...
she looks 14 but in reality she is 21....
Remember kei? the main character?
she also have the same disease like kei...
she looks very innocent but naughty sometimes(sometimes?)...
She always wear that sneky smile of hers...

Morino Ichigo's physical growth was stunted due to her 'standstills', or periods of where her body can't handle the stress and she faints. However, the remarkable thing about her disorder is that Ichigo does not age while she is at a standstill.
When she was fifteen, Ichigo went into a standstill for six years. She is much more perceptive and cynical than most people, perhaps that is because she is really twenty one when she claims to be only fifteen. She has a younger sister who 'outgrew' her when she was in her standstill.

Ichigo is in Kei's class. she suffers from the same disease that Kei has. she is older than the rest of the students, and has very few friends. the few friends she does have though, she tries to help, by hooking them up with people in their class.

It seems that everyone as the wrong impression of this girl since their descriptions are quite harsh. Allow me.
Ichigo Morino is a highschool student that is always trying to find happiness for her friends.
Behind those cold and beautyful red eyes lies a very generous and kind soul but also hides a painfull secret.When she tries to hook up Kei with Koishi wich was the last pair left (Morino also hooked Hyosuke and Kaede when they where at the hotel) Kei was already deeply in love with Mizuho Kazami and turned Koishi down.
Koishi was crushed and when Morino found out she went to talk with Kei and when he told her that he already had someone else it suddenly hit her that her friend Koishi lost her happinness and passes out cold in front of Kei.
Kei the discovers that the painful secret she was hiding was none other than the dreadful disease that he was hiding himself.
However she is far older than any of her friends beacause she was unconscious for 6 years.
Kei passed out for 3 years and is now 18 but Ichigo Morino is actually 21 years old.
Later on she reveals that she had a crush on Kei.
