Hasumi is the rival of Kantaro Ichinomiya. He adopted Rosalie in Great Britain. He knows Kantaro since studying time. His personality is very rationalistic.This is the cause, why he thinks Kantatro is a charlatan and why he does not believe in ghosts, oni and Tengu. When he meets Kan-chan, the first think, they do is argue, about who is the better folklorist. He is a loveley and protective Father for Rasalie.
