Mitsui Hisashi is a threepoint shooter from shohoku high school.
He got an injury on his knee that makes him stopped playing basketball in his 1st grade high school. He started to play basketball again when he is in his 3rd grade.

Mitsui was a star player when he was in Junior High. He was a good outside shooter and a 3-point shooter and he was the hero of their champoinship. His fortunes changed when he entered the Shohoku Basketball Team and met Akagi. Because he wanted to be the best member of the team, he pushed himself too hard and got injured. He became bitter to the team and Akagi that he left the team and became a street punk/gangster. However, the love for basketball is too hard to supress and eventually Mitsui went back to the team and became one of the first 5 players and the team's most dependable outside shooter.
