Mayu is a quite, shy, and gentle homeless runnaway of the age 14. She ran away from home after her step farther sexualy abused her and she had enough. She ran into a small puppy and kept him, naming him Wanta. She runs into Kouta, Yuka, and Nyu after the Bando vs. Lucy thing. Yuka and Kouta 'adopt' her. She later befriends Nana and even Nyu's alter ego Lucy. Mayu isn't afraid of Lucy...Lucy even seems to like her as she as never shown any sign of wanting to hurt Mayu.

Mayu is a homeless girl. She got sexually abused by her step father and her mother didn't care for her. She has a pet puppy, and later lives with Kouta, Yuka, and Nyuu.
