Hikaru, is the sister of minamoto Raikou. Her brother is ill so she takes his place to fullfill a mission to regain the remaining magatama, in order to save the capital. She dresses as a boy to hide her identity. She is accompanied by Watabe no Tsuna, who is like her bodyguard. She also falls in love with Mansairaku and is saddened when she finds out of his second side, Seimei. She tries to kill him in order to thwart his plans, but she failed. They died together a romantic death and it ended the "dooms-day".
In present day, Hikaru is more independant than her former self and more outspoken, she is the landlady for all her former comapanions, Tsuna, Sadamitsu, Urabe and Kintarou!
Her brother is missing for a year and she finds clues to what may lead her finding out a truth, and in doing so she reunits with Mansairaku, but they haven't had the chance for a proper introduction.
