Makimura Kotaru

The protagonist, He is always willing to help but is a bit of a complainer. Kotaru doesn't want to be lonely during the summer holiday and thus is determined to confess to Kaho. Unfortunately, Kaho's life is numbered and only he can save her. He then is involved in the "time drop" which allows forces him through random events of time. This occured because he bumped into a girl named Ligene and broke her hourglass.
