At first glance, she appears to be a Merchant looking for a quick and easy sell or the occasional rare item. Her actions in combat when her allies are helpless, however, reveal a very different "Ma-chan". She continues her journeys with her pet Poring, "Poi-Poi".

As a baby, Maya was the sole-survivor of a ship wreck in Izlude. She grew up alone in Izlude and went past many hardships as humans did not accepted her. When she came back to Izlude with her friends, she met Alice, a monster who sweeps.
As a merchant, Maya is often picking up the party's loot and hungry for money.
