Uotani Arisa, or Uo-chan as she is called fondly by Tohru, is a former Yankee (gang member). Tohru's mother persuaded her to leave the gang, and Uo-chan now spends her time protecting Tohru from Yuki's fan club girls, and beating up Kyou. She is tough on the outside but caring on the inside. ^^
