The actual spelling of his name is Sousuke Sagara. He is a sergeant of Mithril, an anti-terror organization made up of elite mercenaries. His call sign is Urzu-7 ID: B-3128. He is a specialist when it comes to AS's. He is seen piloting the following AS's, the M-9 "Gernsback", ARX-7 "Arbalest", and ARX-8 "Laevitein". The Arx-7 is the predecessor to the ARX-8 "Laevatein". Both have the Lambda Driver installed in them.In the eighth novel of the manga series the ARX-8 single-handedly took out 3 behemoth's. What makes the ARX-8 much more mature than the ARX-7 is that when the Lambda Driver is activated there is no sign of an external exhaust. This makes the Lambda Driver less prone to damage. Both of these AS's were piloted by Sousuke Sagara. Which only supports the fact that he is an AS specialist and the only one in Mithril able to use the Lambda Driver.

Sergeant Sagara Sosuke -- one of the wierdest guys in the whole anime world.He's the type of guy whose mind you can never decipher. Like one moment he could be your ultimate knight in shining armor. Then a few seconds later he throws you out of a plane and into the deep sea as a means of escaping a death threat. No one can blame him, though, since he lives unlike most young people his age. A soldier of an independent army called Mithril, Sosuke is sent to Japan to protect the pettish Chidori Kaname. Soon he discovers that it's more than protecting Chidori as a soldier, it's about him risking his life for love.
