Note: Based on actual historical figure Nagakura Shinpachi, born of the Matsumae clan.
Shinpachi is the short, easy-going captain of the 2nd unit of Shinsengumi. Despite his size and friendly nature, he is a master of swordplay. Part of the Comedic Trio, he loves teasing Tetsunosuke. He is defensive when people comment on his cooking.
