This is the homeroom teacher for Yuna, Kazuki, Raika, Madsuba, Nakamaru and the other members of 2-B. She looks like she just came out of school herself, which might count for why she can come off as lazy and a slacker, though "mellow" might be a better way of putting it. Kaori doesn't exercise much control over her students until she decides she can't afford to keep repairing the walls of the school everytime their tempers get the best of them--it's implied that not all the students like each other--and says Yuna's plans to marry Kazuki are uninvoid.

Iba-sensei is the somewhat lazy and very fun-loving instructor of the class that Yuuna, Kazuki, Matsuda, Nakamaru, etc. are in, class 2-B. She often seems to not care about what her class is doing and can often be found playing handheld video games while teaching. She has a sharp sense of order, however, and doesn't fail to keep her students in check when the need arises.
