Mikihara Ren is the Secretary of the Student Society of Jindai High School. In sharp contrast to Kaname, she looks and behaves like a traditional Japanese beauty and is very naive. It seems she adores Hayashimizu but she says she just respects his talent.

She is an only daughter of the boss of a yakuza group although she thinks her father is just "running a small business."
