Jiro (Kikaider)

Kikaider, also known as Jiro, is a human-form android created by Dr. Komyoji. His body is built with a chip called a Gemini, a conscience circuit which enables him to distinguish between good and evil. Because of this Gemini, Jiro is tormented by not being human yet being able to have human emotions such as love and anger, and to learn and grow like a human.

Jiro is able to transform into his combat form, Kikaider, by pressing the switches on both of his shoulders. Due to the incomplete Gemini, Kikaider is also incomplete in appearance with an asymmetrical form that is not attractive to the human eye.
