Tsukumo Susumu

Tsukomo is a child genius who lives on his own with his own robot girl assistant Kiku #8--sometimes he shows signs of having a crush on her--and the quartet, Mixed Juice. When he was young, Tsukomo had very different parents; an understanding and loving father, and a mother who cared for nothing but reaching the moon and once was struck by her. His father went missing, and it can be assumed his mother caused him to run away, but his dad's not dead, he lives in Canada.
To make his father proud, Tsukumo is determined to get to the moon in whatever way possible. The devices never work, though, and the four girls seem to be somewhere between loving him for the cute little kid he is, and disliking him for not understanding women at all.
