Umagon (his real name is Schneider) is a horselike demon who so far (at least up through episode 53) has yet to find a Book Keeper. He can only say Meru Meru Mee, and is always upset when people cant understand him or cant figure out that his name isnt Umagon.

He gets upset about his lack of hands, and of course his lack of a Book Keeper. He is lonely and often takes this out on Kiyomaru who of course only excerbates the problems of poor Umagon. He often has flashbacks of his mother, usually right before he gets all emotional.

You really have to wonder...how has he lasted so long in this ruthless battle?
