Fujiwara Chiyoko (age 20-40)

At the peak of career. At this point, Chiyoko is already an aspiring young artist, having been the feature of many movies. Chiyoko continues to search for the anti-government painter. Her rival eventually steals the key that she was supoposed to give back to the painter, in order for the directors son to marry Chiyoko. Chiyoko does in fact, marry the directors son. But, later on in the story she finds the key hidden in her and the director's Son's house, and runs off.
