Dr Ayanokouji

When we first meet him, Dr. Ayanokoji is on the run from both the Academy and the Japanese army, both of whom he has deserted. He is the creator of Kurumi, Saki, and Karinka, and also the prototype Mark II Angel Heart.

By all accounts, the doctor is a brilliant scientist with a strong sense of justice. However, he is also a stubborn idealist who can't face the idea of something going wrong with one of his creations.
