Dios

Dios is the prince whose power resides within Anthy, the embodiment of which power shines forth as the sword of Dios, which is first pulled from within Anthy and later from within Utena. A long time ago, all the girls of the world were princesses, and Dios was the prince who saved them, riding on a white horse. This continued until his sister, the only girl who was not a princess but a witch, imprisoned Dios because of her love for him, in order to save him, throwing the world into darkness. It was also Dios who came to Utena after the death of her parents and showed her something eternal so that she could go on living.
