SASUKE SARUTOBI
Sasuke is a boy ninja in the employ of Yukimura. He is naive but highly skilled, and his ninja tricks both save Yukimura and Kyo several times. Sasuke is always loyal to Yukimura's samurai principles, but not always to his underhanded plans.
One of Yukimura's loyal samurai and companions. Because he grew up in the forest, he was feared by society. Yukimura embraced him when he was still young, and since, he has become known as the most powerful shinobi among the Sanada vassals.

Sasuke, the greatest ninja of the Sea of Trees and tomboy-ish follower of Yukimura Sanada. He is the sole witness to Kyoshiro crying in front of Demon Eyes Kyo's body. Despite the fact that he's probably the youngest character of the series, Sasuke is mature, strong-willed and SERIOUS (in retrospect to his leader's childishness maybe?). He's usually unpleasant, rude and detached to everyone save Yukimura, to whom his loyalty is so great to the point of fanatical. He would DIE for the retired samurai and insulting Sanada in front of Sasuke is making a date with death. You just HAVE to be amused on how they act when together. However, when Yukimura left them (ep. 20), Sasuke was enraged and called him a 'traitor', saying that he would never forgive him (ep. 21).
Sasuke is the chosen master of the 4th Muramasa. He had a white handled Muramasa before it, but it got chipped while he fought Kyo so we know it's not a REAL Muramasa. He rarely uses it as a weapon, but he often carries that Japanese toy with him....
***Sasuke's toy: it looks like a wooden hammer with a sharp triangular point at the top. A red ball with a small hole is attached to it with a length of string, and the purpose of the game is to toss the ball into the air and catch it with the hammer(point and hole).
