The Old woman, always sitting on the bridge of the Nirvana and giving orders. I guess she is very popular because when the crew was imprisoned(Ep. 12 I guess) everybody knows her, and everybody was saying like "Hey is that Magno?" "Hey Magno I want to join you" or something like that. At first I don't think she will survive because at Ep.13 of the first Vandread, when she witnessed the death of the enemy mothership, she had a heart attack or a heart failure or something like that, and she said... "I don't think I will live to see a star being Born"... :)

As the captain of the Nirvana, she is responsible for the entire crew, and she bears this duty well. As a rare member of the first generation to settle the planet Mejale, she is the oldest member of the crew, and has the most experience in worldly matters. She is well liked by the all the crew, having provided a lot of them with purpose in their lives, as well as a place to call home.

Magno (usually simply referred to as "Boss") is the shrewd and intelligent commander of the Nirvana. She's a consummate leader-- quick-witted, taciturn, and very observant. She's an excellent tactician and a charismatic leader, which makes her a force to be reckoned with. She's also unusually frank with the men, and is usually willing to listen to their ideas and thoughts.
