Larva, is Miyu's "Captive" as those that know Larva would say, but he is her protector and helps her hunt the Shinma and banish them to the Darkness. He also keeps her from her demise. Larva is a "Western Shinma" and Originaly came to kill Miyu and return to Drink of her blood with his friend. In the anime he is usually hiden behind his mask. He is possibly the only one that is able to see Miyu's pain and suffering.

A Shinma who is bound to Miyu as her guardian. They fought when they first met, but as each cut the other and their blood mixed, Larva felt Miyu's sadness and stopped fighting her. Now Larva protects her and uses his own powers to cast stray Shinma into the Darkness. At the same time, he prepares for his own destiny of sending Miyu to the Dark when she finally completes her task.
