As the brains behind the Nirvana's complex "reg" system, she is responsible for the preparation and resupply of all combatant dreads aboard the Nirvana. In addition to her capacities in that respect, she is one of the oldest and most capable of the crew, and has close personal ties with the captain. She acts as sort of a mentor for the younger crew members, counseling them on their personal dillemmas

Gascogne is the one in charge of the weapons locker aboard the Nirvana. Cold and calculating, she has a troubled past that is somewhat hidden. An excellent poker player, she constantly wins against any crewmember that dares to try their luck. She absolutly hates her pet name(Gasco-san), usually used by dita, and inmediatly corrects them.

Gascogne Rheinau is one of the more colorful crewmembers of the Nirvana-- in charge of the ship's weapons stockpiles and supplies, she's loudmouthed, crude, and extremely friendly. Her excellent management of the ship's supply depot keeps things running smoothly. Just remember not to call her "Gasco"-- it's one of her pet peeves.
