Well, to set things strait:
In the anime Enrico Maxwell is the head of the Iscariot Organization (Vatican Section XIII). He has long white/grey hair and appears in only one scene.
The paladin, Alexander Anderson, works for him. Anderson is tall, has blond hair and a scar on his cheek. He is probably Irish or Scottish. He carries blades and bible texts and uses them as weapons. Also, he can regenerate himself. He is the guy on the picture.
The guy who hits on Victoria and dies is named Harry Anders (or something like that).

Enrico Maxwell is the head if the Section XIII Judas Iscariot organization in Rome. It is a secret organization, much like the Hellsing Organization, that is dedicated to purifying the world of demons. Unlike Hellsing, however, Iscariot despises the use of midians (vampires) to help purify the world. The believe every vampire must be killed. This causes a huge feud between Enrico Maxwell and Integra Hellsing.
Enrico is very young to be in his position, but in the anime, he is shown as a older man. He is determined to rid the world of vampires, and even other religions. Anyone not in his religion are heathens or pagans. Enrico tries to 'make friends' with Integra, but is turned down abruptly. Ah, he deserves it. :)

Actually Maxwell is the head of Iscariot, not the priest who wants to kill Alucard so bad he can taste it. The third manga names him as the head of this organization when he persuades Integra to meet with him and insults her unaware her protector (and I think love interest) Alucard is watching.

First of all, his real name is not Maxwell. Maxwell is a random cop who hits on Victoria and dies. Paladin Alexander Anderson is a Scottis warrior priest of the Iscariot Organization, a Catholic enforcer group always on the lookout to kill vampires and Protestants. His hatred for Alucard is mutual, but as he is a regenerator, capable of regrowing his own limbs and self-healing wounds, he is one of the vampire's few worthy opponents. He is also nearly as inhuman as the vampires he slays.

A Roman Catholic "priest," it's never made entirely clear if he is an ordained priest. Maxwell is the "paladin" a warrior who fights for the Catholic church. He fights Vampires and is a match for Alucard towards the beginning of the series. He is also a regenerator, meaning he can regrow or reattach body parts.
