Now, what can I tell of Allen? He is a paladin, a knight both noble and cool. Of all anime characters he is the most similar (not in the looks but in the spirit and attitude to life) to myself which automatically makes him my favourite male anime character ever.
This guy is a great swordsman, a great leader and a great guymelef pilot. Moreover, he is a "ladies' man" - which is quite understandable considering his looks and reputation. But his attitude to women is somewhat strange: unlike most men he doesn't love them even when being loved. He simply doesn't want to love anyone - no, his true wish is something else. What? That's a secret, folks, you gotta find it out on your own.

A master swordsman of Astoria, and an ace Guymelef pilot. In contrast to Van's rough edges and arrogant attitude, he is a true gentleman. Indeed, he is the epitome of the "prince on the white horse" that many a girl dreams of.
However, his cool exterior belies great tragedy in his life. Having lost everything he loved in his youth, he became addicted to love itself. Although at first glance he will appear to be a playboy, his attitude towards love is nothing of the sort.
